They had never ever discussed before how many fights he was going to have before retirement and how long does it take to discuss that - a 3 hour meeting. But nooooooo - months and facking months.
I think he had a great career but when he open's his mouth he is often annoying even if half the time he talks a lot of sense. He also makes a lot of tongue in cheek comments. Basically if he was on these pages he would be a top troll.
So.....you agree with me but still said "no and no"

Not agreeing with you. Most famous boxers make an announcement that they are retiring - just like Maidana dd the other day. Froch came out with all that crap I mentioned before he announced his retirement - then retired a few months later.

Oh it wasn't to be taken literally. Kinda like Maidana announced it recently but he was already retired.

Froch could be 175lbs but he still would get severely pasted by triple ggg.......defence is far to open and uncoordinated to cope with golovkins technical superirority.....froch lunging and arms down low would end horribly for him and he would be koed....I use to like froch a lot but after the first groves fight during the interview he really upset a lot of fans with his unsportsmanship attitude and even though I cheered him in the rematch he's become even more up his own arse and think's he's superman......the fight was offered to froch and he then went and retired ....end of story

Completely different example....maidana ballooned up to 15 stone ...had no intention of ever fighting again and was in the wilderness in Argentina eating wild boar and drinking home made scrumpy...... Froch was still in shape speaking about various fighters and who he could beat and saying golovkin would be easy fight at 172lb and was giving weekly hints that he needs a challenge to fight and golovkin was that...and he still retired and that's coming from someone who's from the uk who followed froch and wanted to see this fight...froch did run away from golovkin ..that's what happened knob cheese

Or...he knew he was done, wanted motivation, GGG didn't provide that, he retired. Go out with a huge KO in front of 80K, money in bank, model wife, young family, and fame but no it must be he ran away cause that's his style.

that is exactly right, Loeffler's version of events is not accurate, as usual

And Loeffler also forgot to mention that he turned Froch down at 172, despite Dirty Sanchez giving that fight his blessing.....
