What does Ward have to do with Froch?

What are you talking about? Froch never offered the fight at 164.

He offered it at 172, sometime in 2015.

“I offered Gennady Golovkin a fight at 172 but he didn’t fancy it because I’m too big and strong for him and I can’t make middleweight,” said Froch to the Dailymail. “If I did box again, it would be at 172, at a catchweight. (Sergey) Kovalev could happen but I would rather play my poker. You don’t get hit in the face. Boxing is a hurt game, it’s not like football where you lose 5-0 or tennis where you lose in three sets, in boxing you go home on a stretcher.”

And was Ward a coward for sending an offer to a man 2 divisions down from him?

          Nope, thought not.

He was already retired, was playing the field to see if something motivated him and obviously nothing did.

Team GGG reaching with this one.

I remember when he was active he did decline the fight..but he was already retired when he said he was to big to strong and offered 172 cause he had been out of the ring so long

No and No. he spent 3 months bolloxing on about he needed a fight to motivate him in order to get out of bed and he even said a Golovkin fight was motivational. He also spent months saying he needed to have a long talk with his lovely Rachel and McCracken trainer - like really? They had never ever discussed before how many fights he was going to have before retirement and how long does it take to discuss that - a 3 hour meeting. But nooooooo - months and facking months.
I think he had a great career but when he open's his mouth he is often annoying even if half the time he talks a lot of sense. He also makes a lot of tongue in cheek comments. Basically if he was on these pages he would be a top troll.

He asked to meet Golovkin and Loeffler to discuss a fight. Team Lil G never showed.
