Does this mean he's ducking canelo now? Says it in the first minute. There's officially no reason not to fight canelo below 160 now

Not sure how many times this needs to be said. Saying you'll fight guys from other divisions does not automatically mean you'll let them bend you over and screw you in the negotiations. It doesn't mean you'll fight at whatever catch weight they want. It doesn't mean you'll magically find $5M to pay them. It also does not mean that if you don't want to fight someone in another division you're 'ducking' them.

Their message has stayed consistent for literally 5 years now, not sure why people are having such a hard time with it. Unify the definition or move up/down for a big fight.

And guess what..... 90% of fighters today have the same message. BIG SURPRISE.

But none of that applies to canelo. It is the biggest fight for him. He won't be "getting screwed" he's the one that said he can fight at 154

You're right Golovkin is the B-Side he should just drop 5-6 pounds and fight, Hopkins agreed to a CW to De La Hoya, why can't Golovkin?

Says he'll move up and down for big fights. Turns down Ward and refuses to budge from 160 for Canelo, the two biggest fights available to him. Why do people keep falling for team Lil G's bull****?

If only everyone acted like this when all boxers speak.

This is NSB. posters historically interpretation of what boxers say has been literal rather then the reasoned nuance of what they said like you surmise in this post.

It's unfair to suddenly change how we interpret what boxers say. Shouldn't NSB stay consistent and hold GGG to the literal interpretation of his words like we have other boxers on NSB?
