Comments Thread For: Wilder vs. Povetkin - WBC Finally Issues Full Ruling on Failed Test

If his 3 test prior to the positive test were clean then shouldn't it be clear as day that he used Meldonium leading up to the fight??? How can he pass his first 3 test then all of a sudden it shows up on his last two? Sounds fishy! Oh well no one actually cares about drug testing in this sport unless it involves certain fighters. Just look at Salido-Vargas, had Haymon been involved I guarantee there would be a 2 page article from Thomas Hauser on Boxingscene.Comment

It's for sure not clear. Idc about the meldronium bs. I care about the fight. So if Povetkin is just all good now when does the Wilder fight happen? 4mos, 6mos or after his year of testing? When/If the fight goes down does World of Boxing's purse bid win from the postponed fight stand or is there a whole new purse bid since this situation may have increased or decreased the value of this fight? That's the interesting questions to me right now, not more substance I can't pronounce bs.Comment

WBC is forcing povetkin to do 1 year straight of vada testing.
This is insane.
No one gives a fck About PEDs in boxing give them more PEDs, I want exciting fights, not clean boxers.
Fck VADA and WBC, this drug testing is a huge mistake, accomplishes nothing for this sport.Comment

You get 1 good fight for every 10 you watch today.
Enough is enough. This sport is on its death bed and your worried about PEDs. Thats the last thing we need to worry about.
We Should be giving them more steroids, not less.Comment

Dibella knows Wilders days are numbered. He's trying to milk his heavyweight for all he can get before he is forced to sacrifice the first loss.Comment

You specifically said:
I'm simply proving out that the number of fights one has, is irrelevant to getting damaged or killed.
If those all happened WITHOUT PEDs, what do you think would happen WITH PEDs?Comment
