Danny Jacobs confirms there was an offer for GGG

At 10:20 he confirms there was an offer, just not enough money.

Starts talking about GGG at ~7min mark. Says there's just not enough money right now to make the fight and stands by his 'year & half' stance.

Says he doesn't understand why GGG wouldn't fight Lara.

Great work by Nestor getting the tough questions through.

Isn't waiting a year and a half to maximize revenue the same position GGG is taking relative to Canelo?

        absolutely pathetic.

these people are blatantly showing fear and cowardice and is just using the "not enough money" angle to justify said fear and cowardice.

        come on man,

you know damn well that is not GGG's position but its oscar and canelo who are blatantly trying to stay away from GGG.

GGG wants the canelo fight ASAP.

its canelo that has enforced that position on GGG.

How's that the same thing? It's not GGG's choice by any means, it's Canelo's. Golovkin would take that fight at first chance b/c it's his biggest possible fight (Canelo's too).

Golovkin tried to make fights with Canelo, Saunders, Eubank, and Jacobs. All turned him down, so he agreed to fight Brook and make the biggest payday of his career to date.

              GGG vs

              - Lara
              - Jacobs
              - Saunders
              - Canelo

These are fights that should happen or should have happened.

Dude wants millions of dollars and wants the fight to be bigger. What does he do about it? Stays inactive since December and returns against Sergio Mora.

lol, he is just not defendable in any way shape or form.

Neither is blow job saunders for that matter. i doubt his next opponent will be any better than 'the latin snake'

I respect both points but GGG has taken step aside money on multiple occasions prior to this fiasco.

Yes, GGG has tried to make the other fights. regarding Jacobs, he is waiting to maximize his take. I should have posted this is the same position HBO is taking relative to GGG/Canelo.

In taking the Brook fight he is taking an easy fight for the payday to keep undefeated and in position for the big payday.

Is it fair to fault the other guys for trying to do same and position themselves for a possible Canelo fight prior to Sept. 2017?
