It was Arum who said the target was Crawford, then suddenly, after Crawford is a threat, the choice is Vargas! If you read the article that started this thread, who started the controversy? Arum said Manny turned down Crawford because he didn't want to go to 140, implying Crawford didn't want to go up to 147. Now Crawford is saying he did not get any offer at any weight! "You guys" didn't start this, it was Team Pacquiao and Top Rank! Who said Manny was afraid of needles? Who said Manny was given suspect shakes? Who said Manny has already signed contracts that never existed? Team Paquiao and their followers are the laughing stock of this site, because they're always the most ignorant sounding mother****ers in the world! GTFOH!

Sorry you can't get it! There's a big difference friends who want to fight and those who don't. Anyway, it's a lose-lose! Bradley gets nothing for beating a Jr. WW, because unlike Pacquiao, he can't go back to 140. Crawford gets nothing for beating Bradley @ 147, because Bradley doesn't have a title. Neither Bradley nor CXrawford sell PPVs! So if I'm Crawford, I want Danny Garcia @ 147, for the WBC WW title, or I want Adrien Broner @ 147, so I can make some money!

Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach, who trains Postol and Pacquiao, says he would love to see the Filipino superstar return. Another possibility is a fight with WBO welterweight champion Jessie Vargas.

Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum has set aside November 5th at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.

"To me I would love it if would return, and do it against Floyd Mayweather, but that still seems remote. And if he can't do that, then we can do it at 140 pounds, that's where I'd like to see him," Roach said.

"I think 140 pounds is where we would see the best Pacquiao. At 147 pounds he's not bad but I think his ideal weight is 140, where the speed and power will be combined better. Crawford is a competitive fighter, he could be difficult, and Jessie Vargas is coming off a big fight."

The fight will be fought at a catchweight of 144 pounds to test Pacquiao’s performance at a lower weight before they move down to 140 pounds.

The Hall of Fame trainer pointed out that Pacquiao was only forced to move up to the 147-pound division because the big fighters are there, insisting that the former pound-for-pound king is more dangerous at the junior welterweight division.

"He's not a 147-pounder, he only forced himself to be a 147-pounder because that's where the money was but I think he's going to be a much more effective fighter at 140. I don't care who is there, we'll beat them all," Roach said.
