That's just stubborn, ****** and wrong. Canelo is no longer middleweight champion of anything. He stepped down from his WBC world title. He is now challenging for a 154 pound title. You don't stay lineal middleweight champ when you give the title up. It doesn't work that way and Ring damn well knows this. Oscar owns Ring and promotes Canelo which of course is a big fat conflict of interest.
