Boring , as used on NSB, is defined as any fight where Floyd, Rigo, Ward or Crawford (as of 7/23/16) easily defeated their opponent.

Exciting, as used on NSB, is defined as any fight where a boxer popular with posters on NSB, almost always a non African-American, knocks out or otherwise dominates opponents that are either terrible, weak chinned, coming off a loss, old, faded, shot, coming up from a lower weight class or a combination of all.

Right like BJ Flores, Carlos Molina, Miguel Vasquez, Joshua Clottey? Those unbeatable fighters?

Calling a fighter boring isn't subjective, it's a fair and objective label. When you watch a fight of some of these fighters you've mentioned and you hear the crowd booing them out of the building (Which frequently happens in Rigondeaux and Lara fights) what does that tell you? Are those 5000 watching just so oblivious to what they're seeing?

Boring fighters are just that, boring. They get consistently booed, they produce poor ratings, they carry overmatched opponents to decisions and they don't throw a lot of punches.

It's just an easy excuse now

A fighter loses just say you lost because the other guy ran, You don't want to figt someone say he's boring

It's sad that people actually listen to it

Clearly Defense isn't as exciting or sexy as offence but a great D will usually beat a great Offense

In no other sport does Defense get sh.it on like it does boxing. Can you imagine the NFL being like no one wants to watch the Seahawks because their boring or Baseball pumping the narrative of Don't come to the Dodgers game because Kershaws going to shut it down tonight you don't want to see that . No they embrace it and try to promote it

nope, this is the definition of boring by the english dictionary actually

                bor′ing·ly adv.
                bor′ing·ness n.

Synonyms: boring, monotonous, tedious, irksome, tiresome, andre ward

These adjectives refer to what is so lacking in interest as to cause mental weariness.

Something that is boring fails to hold one's interest or attention, often resulting in listlessness or impatience: "I had never watch such a boring fight".

What is monotonous bores because of lack of variety: "There is nothing so desperately monotonous as an andre ward fight" (James Russell Lowell).

Irksome emphasizes the irritation or resentment provoked by something tedious: "I know and feel what an irksome task the watching of a 12 round andre ward fight is" (Edmund Burke).

Something tiresome fatigues because it seems to be interminable or to be marked by unremitting sameness: "What a tiresome being is a man who is fond of watching andre ward fights" (Benjamin Jowett).

I can only deal with a little bit of boring. One has to be aggressive. If you are one the guys that would request a Mayweather Lara type fight, that's on you.
