At 5'11 205ish could he have broke a top 5 spot ? I would say no ,his chin wouldn't hold up and many fights would end up looking like the Foreman one , i would have him evenly matched a Bert Cooper type or a Parker in this era ....thoughts .......
Where would Joe Frazier rank post 80's /Modern times

Tyson, Lewis, Bowe, Haye, Povektin, and Klitscko bros destroy Fraizer
But I think Friazer would destroy Wilders because of the holes of his defense -
Holmes would be a tough fight for him in the early 80's but he would probably be number 2. Tyson and Frazier would be pretty good he would clearly be number 2. In the 90's Lewis and Bowe stand out but those guys were kind of flaky I could see Frazier getting either on the right night but has no real path to beat either if they are on their game. Holyfield would be a good fight and so would Tyson from thata period also. Vitali would probably beat him and Wlad would likely also but Frazier might just catch him with a fight altering leaping left hook.
He would be top 5 at any of those times because if guy like Tyson, Holyfield, and more recently Povetkin could find success so would Joe Frazier. He would probably not be the man but it would have been possible for a short period.Comment

Lol Joe Fraizer is much better than any heavyweight recently including both Klitschkos. Size wouldn't matter since he won't have a hard time getting inside on those guys anyway.
The only ones who could beat him would be Holmes, prime Tyson, Bowe, Lewis, and maybe Holyfield off the top of my head.
Any HW right now gets kod easy.Comment

Well Peter could take a punch to give one.fraizer stood in with Ali,however Ali was releativly light puncher and even he admitted that. Which is the point of the thread, could Small fraziers bob//ducking style win....I would still say no ,not at the dimensions he had and easy to ho hit style.
Also as stated you don't measure resumes you measure what they would in real life do in the time period...I would find it hard for Frazier against guys like his style who can do more damage even if they are less talented, its about who can finish the fight and do it more likely...did you guys forget that little slow Bonevena almost tko'd FRAZIER IN TWO ROUNDS? I haven't actually read anything to convince me otherwise he breaks a top 5 spot.....Comment

Maybe Holyfield, the perfect counter puncher who ate shots from foreman and Tyson...MAYBE beats slower weaker frazier? o.k......this is a comment that belongs in the history section, unless you can give me an accurate break down other than Frazier was an all time great.....which isn't a skill...then.....

Size always matters at heavyweight, and Frazier at 205 would barely even make it in today's division. That's not to say he wouldn't have had any success, but there comes a point where all the ATGness simply can't cut it against a skilled giant who knows how to use his height and superior size to nullify the smaller man's arsenal.Lol Joe Fraizer is much better than any heavyweight recently including both Klitschkos.
