Ok. For the second time in this thread, I'm not wanting Crawford to move up anywhere. What does Crawford have to do with any of this? If the fanboys are saying for him to move up, fine, but I don't agree. Bud can do what he wants. He's coming off a big victory. No pressure from me.

I agree with you. I never demand anybody move up or down in weight. They know what's best for them.

That being said, if 160 is Golovkin's best weight, then why should he move up? I'm not saying you're arguing that either. I'm just using the same logic as you use above, which I agree with. Hagler, Pep and so many greats stayed in one division and I have no less respect for them.

Actually they did. I remember a while back Rigondeaux's team said they'd fight any champ from 118-130. Nobody really takes Rigo and his team serious though because they spout a ton of nonsense on his Twitter account.

Boxers should all be held to the same standards and not asked to live up to something they may have said once in the heat of the moment. Mayweather boasted that he always fights boxers at their best fighting weight. Shortly after that statement he made Canelo defend his 154 pound title at a limit of 152 or no fight.

It's crazy. Every fighter has an optimal weight. I understand for guys who start out so young that they naturally grow into bigger divisions, but given that GGG turned pro late, I don't see that happening with him. I'd like to see what he can do at 168, but that's up to him.
