Roy Jones jr vs Bernard Hopkins on the undercard of Kovalev vs Ward ppv.....I would definitely buy it just to see B-Hop vs RJjr.....I remember when Hopkins "The Executioner" fought Roy and gave Roy Jones a hell of a fight.....I had that fight a draw but since Roy was an Olympian and Hopkins was a convict they gave it to Roy.

He's in that James Toney territory in terms of dragging his active career along. But obviously at this point, he wouldn't retire with the Maccarinelli fiasco.Comment

I'm glad Roy Jones won. Makes it more likely that will see get him brutally KO'd again. Other than Floyd and Ward, he'd my third fav to see brutally KO'd.Comment

All I have to say about this is that legends have bills to pay too; Just like the rest of us. That's why he's still fighting because he's broke. He desperately needs the money.
I mean he's operating a ranch, mortgage payments and child support payments. Where else can he earn that kind of dough outside of boxing?
Hell, he's even considering making his foray into the MMA arena in order for him to earn some extra cash.Comment

Sell the friggin' ranch and renegotiate the child support - nobody will get anything if he ends up in a wheelchair eating through a strawAll I have to say about this is that legends have bills to pay too; Just like the rest of us. Outside of a short sale, I highly doubt that he would sell off his ranch. After all, he is a country boy at heart, who loves animals and nature. In addition, the South is where he's from.
Therefore, he'll probably just refinance his ranch by either replacing or consolidating the existing mortgage with another property; Like his home for example, in order to lower its monthly payments under a different term.
Also, another alternative is to just simply liquidate all the equity from the ranch, if he hasn't already done so and make the payments that way. Just in case, the property forecloses, in the event, that he can no longer afford the monthly payments.
I am pretty sure that Roy Jones, Jr would much rather lose his ranch, rather than selling it.Comment

someone recorded it.
Its a sad thing to see really. Roy is still very gun shy even against a small journeyman and he barely threw any shots at all. His defence is not there at all and he seems to have lost a bit of power behind his punches. I think unless Roy beats someone without a pulse he will get koed. Any person that can punch will beat him easy.Comment
