Comments Thread For: Bundu Motivated To Exploit, Outwork Errol Spence For IBF Shot

Leonard Bundu believes his upcoming fight with rising star Errol Spence has all the makings of a "spectacular fight." Speaking on a pre-fight media call, the experienced welterweight revealed: "It's going to be a spectacular fight. I know Errol has come to fight and I'm coming to fight. I'm coming for the big threat. I'm coming here convinced from my experience."

The amount of technical decisions and draws for head clashes/cuts on Bundu's record is unnerving, I'll say that much.

I'm not sure. What Spence did to Algieri was savage (something that prime Provodnikov couldn't even do), but then Thurman couldn't put Bundu away.

This is a god test for Spence. Bundu is a crafty veteran contender. Thurman tried hard to look good against him but couldn't. If Spence kOs Bundu [even if he is 18 months older now] it will still look good.

They should just sanction this bout for the 147lb IBF world title; Because let's face some facts. Kell Brook is done with the welterweight division. His days of competing at a 147lb are over. He has simply outgrown the division and can no longer properly make that weight. He's huge.

Win, lose or draw against Gennady Golovkin, I expect Kell Brook to vacate that IBF title, before his next mandatory challenger, which in all likelihood would be Errol Spence, Jr; So that the winner of the Bundu/Spence, Jr bout would be declared and universally recognized as the new IBF welterweight champion.

Spence will destroy Bundu easily. He's the best welterweight fighter.

I feel bad for Bundu. The guy is going to be running into a buzz saw. Spence by KO.
