why couldnt he make 168. hes made 168 his entire career unless im wrong. he probably wanted it at 172 so he could have an even bigger size advantage. the big nose knucklehead now seems obsessed with ggg, always *****ing about him. You arent that old froch (same age as andre bored's last opponent), if you want the fight its still there.

      That doesn't fit the narrative.

      They worship this GGG fella'.

He's a superhero with a paper mache resume.

I guess he means he should be fighting a middleweight not a cruiserweight.
Ricky Hatton was roughly 180 lbs before he faced Mayweather. Was Hatton really a light heavyweight?

How much weight does Adrien Broner put on in between fights? I'd say he goes up to 180 as well. Should broner be fighting at WW, Middleweight or Light Heavy?

Not saying much since there aren't many good fights on the schedule besides Kovalev-Ward, but GGG-Brook, in front of 50,000 or however many people, Brook undefeated, excellent fighter, and the only thing that was bad about the matchup was the size difference, but now you see Brook is 10 pounds heavier than GGG.

So GGG is fighting a top, undefeated fighter, who is also just as big as him. In the U.K., with a great atmosphere. So it's not legacy fight, but it's not Canelo-Khan either. Khan had been KOd at 140, fighting a middleweight in Canelo. Brook is naturally much bigger, has never showed chin issues. It's a totally different situation. Not a legacy fight for GGG, but this is another very good matchup to go along with the Lemieux fight, Stevens fight, and the true lineal champ at the time Martin Murray. Can't wait to see it!

But after, Jacobs needs to step up like yesterday, and Tom Loeffler needs to get GGG some legacy fights before he gets old and slow, which will be sooner than people think. They better get Gilberto Ramirez before that happens because Ramirez is a way taller, longer monster, the best Mexican fighter alive right now in his prime (so not counting JMM), otherwise he will surprise Team GGG and they won't like what happens. And I picked GGG to beat Ward when GGG came on the scene at his absolute peak against Proksa when he was 30, but I will be picking Ward by blowout against GGG if that fight happens when GGG is 36 or 37 years old.

So Loeffler needs to step it up. But given everyone has been ducking GGG, this fight in the UK against an undefeated, excellent fighter who is just as big as him, both with entertaining styles and power, is a fight I am definitely looking forward to.
its a ****ing great match up, pretty much everyone i speak to is excited about it, only people who arent are the miserable bastards on this site, who suck the life out of every fight. Most people (outside the forum) think brooks up against it but hes got a chance as hes got world class skills and are excited to see what happens. Its a fight thats got boxing back in the spotlight again.
