Lets stop referring to Hagler, wtf are you all doing referencing an ATG like him to golovkin?? I mean, had the guy fought all top guys, then we'd have a case for that. Hopkins? Ok, he took risks, he was the top MW, dropped to 156 to make a dlh fight, that was a risk. Golovkin on the other hand says he will do a cw, and then says he won't do a cw...well, if he wants the bigger money, he's going to have to either bend to canelo's demands or wait until Canelo feels like fighting him. So for the last time, golovkin is NOT Hagler, not even close, and while I feel brook is good...he's NOT special, he's NOT hearns.

For those who don't like my comments, let me again refer you to Golovkin's OWN words that he would do 154-168, his "big drama show" is more like high school musical

Brook's stamina is going to be tested if he plans on keeping that weight on & just draining water weight. And like it's been said on this thread, the added weight might not necessarily translate to more power. Especially if none of his power shots are landing flush. If he wants to go 12 with GGG, probably working on his defense would help a ton. Even then, it might not be enough. GGG in 8.

i dont see any other result in this fight other than a stoppage by GGG, hope brook does not get seriously hurt

if brook miraculously wins, it's got to be the biggest upset of all time or atleast top 3

                  mismatch fight

I don't see why boxing fans aren't allowed to do comparisons. I mean, it's not like a ton of people care to measure GGG against his contemporaries. And if critics are going to attack GGG's resume (which can be substituted for the word legacy when all is said & done), then GGG's legacy will undoubtedly going to be compared to the likes of the ATG MW's while he's still fighting & building that resume. It's reactionary for every single boxing fan to compare an up-and-comer to ATG's. We simply cannot resist it. If someone is perceived as a great young boxer, than of course boxing fans are going to want him to go down the same path as ATG's before him...or forge an even better legacy. That's why ATG's are always brought up.

Look, I get it. You're bashing some people for making a comparison of ATG's at MW to GGG when GGG has barely achieved stardom...you are offended by it. But be honest. You do it yourself when you go on to say that GGG hasn't fought any top guys...you are comparing...just by responding, you are comparing. Don't get it wrong...we're all guilty of it. How often have you watched Spence & tried to do a comparison fight style to ATG WW's? I know I've done it more than once.

What I'm saying is that downgrading the comparison only speaks of your own bias. If you don't like the Hagler comparison, compare him to another MW then...or even just any boxer with a similar style. I see flashes of Roberto Duran in GGG's style...will you debate that?

I disagree with Kell. Mid 170s is wayyy too heavy. He needs to come into the fight weighing 165 at most to stand the best chance of pulling it off.
