why cant it be. two proven world class fighters trading bombs in the centre of the ring, in front of brooks home fans. if brook comes out swinging then golovkin will stand his ground and throw solid shots back. this will be one of the fights of the year in front of a packed out arena, a throwback fight to when the best used to fight the best.

The greatest thing about professional boxing is that talk is so cheap and the truth reveals itself on fight night. For those who think that Glolovkin "hasn't proven himself", they really don't have much time in the game as fans. GGG has beaten everyone put in front of him (beat them soundly). When he loses one fight or its even close post some criticism. Until then point out some rational opinions on any weakness in his style etc. but to say he hasn't fought anybody is simply ludicrous and a childish statement.

I will give Brook all the credit! Just the fact that he is jumping 2 divisions to fight the "most feared fighter" deserves credit.

Please stop comparing unproven GayLoveKin to hagler, Hearns, Duran, etc. It's extremely embarrassing, and only takes away from the greatness of these men.

Would you say Hagler was untested because he only stayed at Middleweight? He certainly was the best middleweight of his era and beat the best welterweights moving up, but he never tackled a super middle or light heavy so we don't know how he would have done when he faced big men who could possibly push him around
