Dumb move by Ortiz, he will be out of fighting longer now. And he has no time.
The top guys are avoiding him and he is not verry popular yet so he has to take every fight they offer to him. He has no time to sit around and wait for things that never come.

Why would you call out someone who is neither a draw nor has a belt you can take from him? Essentially, they would be calling out a prospect if they did that.

He calls out Fury, Joshua, and Klitchko because of their status and their belts, and they call him out vice versa for the same reasons. What does Ortiz have that they need again?

Notice that Wilder never mentioned Joshua until Joshua beat Martin and took the IBF, then he started calling him out too.

Ortiz needs to earn his shot the same way Errol Spence is doing, work your way up and become freakin mandatory to someone. Aint nothing free in life.

See thats the problem with boxing now. They dont want to fight the best, they want to fight the most profitable. I cant fault them really but you have gotten right on board with them. The entire world will be full of people like that like that before long. Test yourself son, thats the moral of the story.

It's pretty obvious why he called these 3. They are 3 of the best heavyweights & they are big money fights. They own the other belts. Anyone else is a step backwards from unifying the titles. Haye & Povetkin have no titles but they are at least good paydays. What does Ortiz bring to the table? Cuban black beans, coffee & a few Cohibas...Nobody is going to fight Ortiz. The guy is pretty dumb. First gets busted for roids & then wants to leave the promoter who stuck by him after he failed by getting him a WBA interim title fight & involved in the WBA title tourney. Ortiz is a nobody with nothing to offer. He looks like a dangerous fighter but he brings nothing to the table & has no home nation to stage a big money event. He is in boxing limbo.
