Fantasy fight: Adrien Broner VS Ricky Hatton 140lbs

You know people have no idea about Ricky Hatton when there is any question about him beating Adrien Broner. He not only wins, he beats the living hell out of Broner.

Broner isn't a counter puncher. He's either punching or defending. He doesn't transition from one into the other with counters. He doesn't use the opponents mistakes or aggression against them to counter with. That's just simply not how he fights best. He can, but not very effectively. He's essentially a come forward pressure fighter. He doesn't fight well off the back foot and doesn't fight well on the counter. He is best when he's coming forward, pressuring, and throwing when he wants to, which is when the opponent stops throwing themselves and usually moving back.

He also doesn't hit much harder than Floyd. When he has stepped up his comp to a Floyd level, he hasn't stopped many, if any of those opponents. When Floyd was fighting Broner's level of opposition at 130-140, he was stopping all of them just as easily.

If you're impressed by Broner stopping guys like Escobedo, Litzau and Perez, you need to go watch what Floyd does to those level of guys in his 130 days. I think he does hit harder, but it's certainly not by much and even that could be argued.

Anyway, from what we've seen of Broner so far, Hatton would win.

I seen every Floyd fight ever...So don't presume to know more about the man.

First of all Broner does not fight good going forward at all...his work rate suffers and he looks bad...He fights best in the pocket and that is a well known fact.

Broner doesn't counter well? Seriously? They weren't counter uppercuts and right hands destroying Khabib all night? And before you write off Khabib lets remember everyone thought he beat Vargas including myself. And seriously his check hook that he banks 90% of fights on isn't a counter? How many times was Paulie buckled by it? C'mon man, he's a lazy inactive *******, who would rather shake his head after you run off a combination than return fire but the skill and talent is fu(king obvious and this mob mentality on here of acting like it isn't is getting to pathetic levels.

Floyd doesn't hit near as hard as Broner..He's never dropped anyone as sturdy as Porter in his career. He couldn't even buckle Gatti while having a field day on him. Also Floyd lands clearer than anyone
