That's besides the point, Fooooool. The FACT remains, Ward beat Dawson when he was coming off of the Hopkins win - and Hopkins just happens to be the best name on Kovalev's resume.

Any way you shake it, 168 Dawson is better than *50* year ole Hopkins...

168lbs had less of an effect on Dawson than *50* years of age had on Hopkins.

That's ridiculous. Dawson was absolutely drained in that fight and made Ward look like mike Tyson in there. Be real man. Also, Dawson barely got past Hopkins in one of the top 3 ugliest and least interesting fights ever. Beating Dawson doesn't make you a great fighter.

Ward has an excellent resume up to September of 2012 when he KOed Dawson. From then until now his resume is mediocre at best. He has only had 4 fights for an average of about 1 fight a year. His opponents have been Rodriguez ranked 20th by boxrec. Smith ranked 47th by boxrec. at 168. Barrera ranked 40th by boxrec at 175 and Brand ranked 28th by boxrec at 168. Compare that to who Kovalev has fought and defeated in the last 4 years and Kovalev's resume is better by a country mile. If you compare resumes up to September 2012 Ward easily tops Kovalev. If you compare current resumes from September 2012 to now Kovalev's resume is vastly superior to Ward's resume.

Wasn't consensus if he wasn't top 10 in the Ring or tbrb rankings. Boxrec had him 25
