So yes, I can damn well blame people for saying Ward will try and avoid a fight by doing things he has literally never done before. Insisting Ward will find a way to avoid this fight is pure wishful thinking by a lot of people who don't want to face the possibility that Ward will beat Kovalev. That's why it is always the same posters who said he wouldn't move up, that he wouldn't agree to fight Kovalev, that he would fake injuries against his other opponents, and are now saying he will fake injury to avoid it now.

It's pure bull**** born of fanboyism and fear.
summed it up...they been talking about him missing fights because of injury since the paul smith fight

deep down inside, they know he and Adonis are Kov only real threats at 175 and dont want to see a "clinching, headbutting, feather-fisted, coward" beat their guy

you can see right through them...

i pointed this out jc88 whatever his name in and he replied "what posters"

its obvious they feel ward is a threat to upset the applecart, and it doesnt help that he is the complete opposite of the fighters they prefer.....he isnt super aggressive nor a great puncher...it would suck for Kov to lose to a " Co-Ward clincher who head butts, has no power, is past his prime and cheats his way to victory"

dudes is pathetic, here we are 3 months from the most important fight of the year and fanboys keep praying for andre to pull out. The inevitable is upon us, ward will be p4p number 1 on November 20th.

keep praying for that back injury tho
they same idiots claiming Mayweather ducked Pacquaio did the same thing....and contradictory to everything they kept saying...mayweather was the one who approached manny man to man, put his pride aside and work with Rob Arum, and went out their and beat Manny

if ward wins, they'll go into hiding and come back out to play beginning of next year

if he loses, then it'll be "told you he was overrrated, he wasnt good" like he never established he is/was a top fighter years before and erases everything he accomplished

        they can keep wishing.

Reminds me of the ********ic party. Hillary gets caught pimping out the government to the middle east and people pretend it never happened, sweeping the facts under the rug.

Now he's on pace to fight 3 times this year. So the knock on Ward is he's unreliable. Ward has pulled out of 2 fights. Pavlik with an injury and Brand last year and that fight hadn't progressed any further than the planning stages. On the other hand you have Main Events who pulled out of negotiations with Wilder-Glazkov and pulled out of the purse bid with Stevenson-Kovalev. Both happened last year. But you don't see these concern threads about Main Events pulling out. You have Brook who pulled out of Alexander 2x's, Chaves, Rios, and Vargas. But you don't see concern threads for Brook pulling out. If people were really concerned about a fighter pulling out it would be Brook who has a history of that.
You what the deal is with those haters.

I really hope the fight does happen. I was already let down with Wilder/Povetkin and the opportunity to see Wilder exposed as a can opener.

Unlike Wilder, I actually like Ward for his good boy behavior and ability to speak proper english. lol.

In any case, I do think Ward's biggest asset at this point in his Zero loss...., just look at all of the "he has not lost since he was 13' comments on here.

What we do know is that Ward will never be superstar, and his only way to keep earning his few million per year, if he stays active, is to keep his Zero loss.

By fighting cans the level of Wilder's competition, and yes, even GGG's Wade (albeit he was a mandatory. lol), Ward can keep on collecting small paychecks and try to milk his career as long as he can, to eventually cash out one day against someone he has no chance, or little chance against, ie GGG, Adonis, or even Canelito if he moves up)

Fighting Kovalev at this point.... is a HUGE risk to him and his career.

If he wins... yes, he gets that extra win and a payday... but he still has not fought GGG or Adonis, and even as the new LHW champ... Will he fill up arenas? No, I don't think so.

If he Loses... he gets that 1 on his record... and he is as good as done., except for a much anticipated fight against GGG, but his career at LHW would be over.

Put it this way... Looking at Ward's last five years.... if he had a loss on his record... would anyone give a **** about him anymore?

              His stock would plummet.

So as much as I would love to see Ward/Kovalev...

If I was his manager... I would do anything I can to build up the hype, then pull out.... let the fight marinate more...., cash in a few more bums before fighting Kovalev or Stevenson.

If there is a loss, then put it all into a fight with GGG, again, marinate it.... and even with the loss.... he will be able to take home a few million.

Then he can become a boxing commentator, open up his own gyms, etc.

Fighting a guy who would KO your last 2 competitors in the first 3 rounds that took you 12 rounds? that is just too much risk.

Summed up perfectly, it's pathetic as hell. Really shows how insecure these people are that they are hoping on something happening so they can somehow feel good to justify their hate of a fighter.

You are reaching . Ive said time and again i want this fight to happen. You wanna act like a girl and put words into peoples mouths.

Ward hasnt showed any signs of wanting this fight. This bs isnt promoting it.

                    Ward is looking soft.
