There was a lot of talk recently about the possibility of WBO middleweight titlist Billy Joe Saunders (23-0, 12KOs) appearing on the Saul Alvarez-Liam Smith HBO pay-per-view undercard, which takes place on September 17th at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. People coming down on BJS for not fighting Rosado, but I'm glad. Rosado is washed up and far from deserving a title shot. I don't see Rosado as any threat to Saunders. Let Rosado fight Khurtsidze if they want BJS so bad.

I'd rather see BJS fight the Russian fighter or even N'Dam like he tried before, but N'Dam had a fight and so Saunders went with Bursak.

Saunders knows he's got Canelo, Golovkin, and Jacobs all wanting to fight him and won't have to fight Khurtsidze this year. He probably wants to let them build up their bidding for his belt.

Don't get your hopes up people! Saunders is not facing Canelo in December! Saunders is only concerned with keeping his title by all means necessary. Which means, facing a few low level domestic fighters in the UK!
