a welter weight who weighs almost a stone more than GGG at the moment and will hold hometown advantage. A young hungry lion fighting in front of his own fans

lol i was winding you lot up about wilder and it worked. Saying that, the thing about him now having an excuse to fight a few bums as 'tune ups' is true, expect him to announce his comeback at a time when the top guys have got fights already pencilled in

You didn't "wind me up" at all. Don't flatter yourself. I've seen your type of ******ity on this site for years. It's nothing new. Pointing out that it's ****** is not indicative of "winding" anybody up.

If you choose to play the fool expect to be called out on it.

I think this is the biggest difference between majority of Golovkin fans and Ward fans.

Most of Golovkin fans know his resume isn't great, but it's solid with many good, but not great fighters. We also know that he's made an honest effort to make a fight with every good/great fighter and it didn't happen.
We also give Ward credit for having a good resume with wins over several high class fighters. When some say there's a 30% chance that fight with Kovalev doesn't happen due to Ward's history of promotional issues, injuries and difficulty negotiating, we're labeled unreasonable haters.

Majority of Ward fans are nowhere near as objective. They pretend Golovkin only fought D- fighters, with most of these morons reusing the same lame insult in every thread (ie 'can man', 'lil gina', 'g string', etc), they say that he's a small MW and should have fight Canelo at 155 CW, then they say that he's a big MW who MUST move up, they say that Ward's absolutely amazing and beat all of his competition with ease (even though a few scorecards were close), they pretend Golovkin is out there chasing the easy fights and he only wants to get paid - even though it was Ward who has fought Paul Smith and Alexander Brand. The last time Golovkin fought someone as bad as Smith or Brand was Ishida or Macklin, which was in his 2nd year in the US.

It's hard to respect a lot of Ward fans because they don't have the decency to respect other fighters and the sport of boxing. We all have our fan favorites, and dislike their natural rival. But that does not give you a right to be a disrespectful piece of trash. Anyone who can't make a post without throwing an insult in there is an absolute loser in my book.

They didn't even care about the division until ward came along. Then, all of a sudden, it became the greatest conquest of a division in boxing history. Many even said Kessler was hype because he was beat by Calzaghe. They called Abraham a limited Euro with no skills.

No, his resume isn't great. Kudos to ward for winning the super six, but nobody really gave schit about the entrants until it was over.
This exactly. super 6 was a bunch of B level fighters trading wins...and andre ward. people called froch a caveman, now all of the sudden he's an atg cuz he's ward's best win.

in ward fans eyes... cleaning out super middle means ward is proven without question. GGG clearing out middleweight means hes a bum who needs to step up and prove himself. And before you clowns start saying wards stepped up in weight, who the **** has he fought to prove that he is a top fighter at 2 weights. Absolutely noone. YOU ARE HYPOCRITES.
