If he wants the credit for being "a great teacher" he definitely won't want the blame for a loss.
Also if Ward loses you know he will give credit were credit is due. Hopefully Kovalev will be a class act if he loses and not echo his trainer's sourness should he come up with sour g**** comments

That was a classless comment based on the reality of Kovalev's history.

I don't think this helps! Why would someone want to pay for a PPV between "Krusher" and a "Washed Up" former champion? The way they are selling it, it sounds like Mayweather vs. Berto!

did you just start watching boxing? Cause ward cleaned out the 168 pound division and it was stacked with talent he beat mikel kessler arthur abraham sakio bika edison miranda allen green and chad dawson. Im a fan of triple g but ward clearly has a better resume aint no question about it

Stop taking what a trainer says so seriously. This is no different than what you would expect to hear form your people if you were going to shoot the fives with someone. It's a public pep talk for their fans and his fighter. Fk else is he supposed to say? We are going to lose? Boxing fans have gotten ridiculous with the over-sensitivity as of late.

my definition of a division stacked with talent, is not one with mikel kessler arthur abraham sakio bika edison miranda allen green and chad dawson in it. ALthough not sure if you are being sarcastic or not lol.

Yeah, because domi**** Wade definitely adds to the stacked 160lb division.

Andre beats Kovalev easily off a decisive decision victory

Andre will beat the clumsy awkward off balance caveman Kovalev easily making Kovalev look ****** and clumsy and over matched. Kovalev looks like a caveman with a huge club whacking away at opponents till they fall down. Andre is smooth and fluid and will make Kovie look ****** and awkward and off balance. Bet Ward to win this fight easy. Stevenson hits harder than Kovie and also would KO Kovie maybe even Ward. Bet Ward to win the fight. Thank me later.

Dawson-pascal beat him fairly easy before dawson fought ward, stevenson put him away in 1 round, it took ward 10. Not a great fighter at all tbh, karpency beat him later too

Froch- wards best win and a good name on the record, although close fought, 115-113 on two cards. Plus froch not too hard to outbox, andre dirrell and jermain taylor both managed it for large chunks of the fight

Abraham- big stiff classical european plodder, lost every round to froch

Bika- a walking human punchbag who can take a good shot

Green- useless, completely useless, took ward the distance. 70 year old Glen johnson coming into ring with a zimmerframe managed to put green away inside the distance. one of the worst fights of all time

Kessler- technical decision, stopped on cuts due to wards headbutting. Frequent head butts throughout the fight. A good but not amazing fighter who calzaghe beat fairly comfortably (117-111 on one card as hbo scored it too)

Miranda- limited fighter with a big shot and not much else, bute put him away, pavlik put him away, he took ward the distance

my rundown of them lot, copied from my other thread...
