The ******ity is pretty sickening here, by some. Why not just say Wilder will probably keep having surgeries he doesn't need for a few years straight so he can continue to duck Povetkin. Or, maybe Wilder will intentionally break his hand again to avoid top competition? Stop the ****** hate.

Even without that 3rd surgery I doubt he'd a been ready for another fight this year. But this 3rd surgery could push things back even further which is not good for him.

Deontay has a frail body, probably not much calcium.

But his bones are tiny, you seen how skinny his ankles are? dude is walking on toothpicks, his bicep tear was scary, it rolled up during the fight.

If I were Deontay I would not fight again until the end of 2017 just to be sure my body is healed. Plus the rest will do him good, also he should focus more on his legs, and get rid of some of the bulking muscle up top focus on his legs.

Wilder is extremely active. His time off before Arreola is the longest downtime of his career. He'll be better with a little time off and a tuneup or two.

Wilder has a very difficult challenge ahead of him. Hand injuries alone can end a fighter's career, now he has to worry about rehabbing a torn bicep as well. I know he probably has top notch medical care but I've torn a bicep before and it was never the same. If he makes it back to his old form it'll be a miracle......

with that type of shattered hand, he needs to heal up, dont want to keep breaking them, remember his bicep also got torn up, he is a power puncher thats his bread and butter the layoff is needed

The way his bicep rolled up on his power hand, I dont know if his arm will even produce the same type of power.
