We're talking about the same broad that demanded a WBC purse bid, stated that she was bringing Russian high rollers to this purse bid, got her bluff called, then backed out because she was no match for Team Stevenson.

Given the history of both promotional companies, it seems as if once again, Duva is bluffing and will do something behind the scenes to sabotage the best fight in boxing.

i get ward not showing up to a press conference a week after he's fought, but rocnation sent an email to duva telling her not to announce the venue or the ticket prices, which were agreed upon and were to be release today! i was planning on going to this fight, but i can't buy plane ticks or hotel rooms if they literally won't even announce ticket prices and make the venue official.

This is what I'm seeing right now. Sure, further information may come out later but right now I can't really get the folk saying that somehow this is Duva's fault. OK by the sounds Dre / Roc are looking for some late changes in the terms, which is, of course, their right if they ain't yet signed, but again I'm not really seeing how it's Duva's causing the problem.

If the fight doesn't happen it's because Ward's a fraud. Stop looking for loopholes so you can still support Princess Dre if he pulls out the fight.

How can you be certain of who's at fault or what's really going on behind the scenes? Ward's last fight was literally a few days ago and like usual everyone here is speculating the worse.

Things will play out in the next few weeks and we'll have a better understanding of the situation.......no need to cry wolf just yet.

Whether she demanded it or not is irrelevant. There was a 0% chance they reach a deal without a purse bid. You want a mandatory Challenger position to force the champion to fight you. The fight could've happened but she ran away.

She's incompetent. And that's why this Kovalev/Ward fight will flop and be an amateurish, garbage promotion. And the fight generate no buzz in the mainstream.
