This fight is a joke and the fact that its on PPV makes it even worse. But smart bidness move, doe.

He's called "beefy" for a reason. a physically solid JMW, size won't be an issue. I think this will be more competitive than ppl realize. sucks that Liam has no chance on the cards though.
Canelo is a big step up from anybody Smith has fought before, and it's impossible to predict how he will handle that and the occasion.

But Beefy is a strong, fit and determined fighter. It won't surprise me at all if Canelo needs a bit of help from the judges to get by him.

      WAR BEEFY!!!

This is going to be Canelo's toughest fight since Lara.

Canelo's in with a NATURAL super welterweight now, unlike Cotto whose best weight was 147.

This fight is going to good PPV numbers unlike GGG and Crawford. The reason for that is it's a good competitive between two of the best 154 pounders who have never been in a boring fight. Plus it's going to be a Cowboys Stadium. This event is going to be HUGE.

              LOL

I don't know what the purses are, so its hard to say what "good ppv numbers" look like. I'm foreseeing ~300k on ppv, and a half full stadium unless the tix are dirt cheap.

Canelo being this boxing superstar is myth and legend

Yes, I know which fight you're referring to and I agree.

I think it could be more competitive than people think.

But yea, Canelo could have definitely selected a better opponent.

I would like to see Smith in a couple of lesser fights first.

Most brits seem to have no problem stepping up, they will fight anyone..... but they should get the credit for that, not the other guy.

Little/no chance, but I hope Smith and Brook BOTH win their upcoming fights.

As a British Golovtard my loyalties will be torn between GGG and Brook. After Tyson Fury, and with Froch retired, Brook is my favourite UK fighter. But I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

It would be freaking awesome for UK boxing if they both won though.
