Does anyone still think wladamir was a better fighter than Vitali?

    After seeing the fury fight?

Fury used a lot of tactics that Vitali used to, dropping his hands, feinting from mid range, moving.

Vitali had more pop on his shots but fury is slightly longer and slightly more agile.

But I see Wlad v Vitali playing out very similar with Wlad sustaining a bit more damage

    Yes.

Wlad is old and declined significantly. His recent fights have shown this. Prime Wlad beats Vitali I think in a ugly fight

Wlad is a better puncher and more talented than vitali but he's not better than him. Vitali was a very special fighter who would give any great heavyweight a challenge.

Wlad was a much better boxer but I still think Vitali would have knocked him out.

In terms of technique, power, and accomplishments he is miles ahead of Vitali. But his chin has always been questionable. Head to head Vitali is a nightmare for anybody. The same cannot necessarily be said for Wlad.

I never thought Wlad was better. I like them both, but Vitali was an arse beater all day long. Imagine that dude coming at you in a dark alley. He really looked like he had no fear at all. And I liked his style better. I think he'd beat Wlad down and would have beaten Fury too. The only problem with him was his injuries.

Vitali had an iron chin so it would take a hell of a lot for Wlad to ko him. On the other hand, it's hard for me to picture Wlad lasting 12 rds against Vitali unless he just didn't engage at all, in which he probably loses an ugly decision.

Wlad would have to hope to land a few good shots a rd and then just clinch the rest of the time, basically his only chance aside from a huge shot putting Vitali out, which is unlikely.

Vitali is the better fighter, Wladimir the better athlete & boxer.
