So Kathy Duva just gave an interview to UCN, telling that the Kick-Off Presser was planned with Roc Nation weeks ago, and only a couple days ago Ward and Roc Nation suddenly sent an Email that they would not attend.

Same with the venue. As everybody knows, the T-Mobile Arena was agreed on last year already for Kovalev vs Ward. They were just going to announce the Arena officially and start the Presale for the Tickets, when Roc Nation suddenly contacted them hours before that the announcement should be cancelled, same with the presale.



You still defend Ward/Roc Nation? This is disgusting. Not informing the media or the fans whats up, suddenly wanting to change the venue which was agreed on a year ago and not even attending their own presser.

we've all known this fight would be in november and we also know where it's supposed to take place. Now Wards team want to negotiate time and place? Didn't he just say to Kovalev "I'll see you in November?"

unfortunately i knew this was going to happen. Ward fans acting like ward had fought kovalev already. Its easy to say ages in advance that you are going to fight someone, and then gradually pull out. It takes the heat off of you fighting bums for a bit as people are naive enough to believe you are eventually going to fight someone good. Ward has NO INTENTION of fighting kovalev. Hes done the same thing as canelo did with GGG, by delaying the fight but saying its going to happen. Open your eyes people.

I call bull**** in the sense that we've known the exact date for the fight for months. Months. But never have they said where the fight would be. Now suddenly that's been agreed to for a year? So why not state that? All we've known is Russia and Oakland have been excluded. Suddenly tho, T-Mobile areana, an arena that didn't even exist when the talks for this fight started, was agreed upon. I dunno what Duva is working but it sounds like a lot of bull****.
