Why are they doing a presser for a PPV fight between probably the two highest ranked P4P guys that can be made right now & they don't even have a f#cking venue for it? And on f#cking bar stools without a goddamn table?

This seems like some Arum in a bad mood type **** to do. I mean if you are putting on a fight just shy of 4 months from now & days after one of the guys fought & that guy says he ain't coming maybe you should be working out the details of this fight instead of having a presser on bar stools at a venue the fight isn't gonna be at. Kathy Duva is f#cking autistic or something. Although in fairness Roc Nation can't seem to get anything done without looking like they are being ran by a really smart orangutan.

In the last week Ward compared his promotional time off to Muhammad Ali's war dissent, he compared his skills to RJJ, BHop, and Floyd, his nickname S.O.G. compares himself to Jesus, and in his last fight he was seen trashing talking a 100-to-1 underdog.

So I got one question for you, are you on crack? This dude is not humble. And at the end of the day, all of that is just extra stuff. You're right people do bring up Floyd's bad behavior as a reason they don't like him, but that's a secondary argument on top of the main one that he's a boring a** fighter. It's just to preempt the arguments of other people who have racial bias and are full of ****. If you just say he's a boring fighter, racially biased fans will say "well I like his personality, I like his style, and Pacquiao gambled a lot, so I want to see a gambler lose," or some bullisht like that. So people just make the point that not only is he boring in the ring, he's also an ******* outside of the ring, so there is literally no reason to like him inside the ring or out. That's the only reason people bring up his outside the ring behavior. To completely close out the argument by showing that there's nothing to root for on any level, inside the ring or out, which exposes all his fans as just biased people.

With Ward he's very likeable outside of the ring sometimes, like his down to earth interview with HBO talking about his family, and he's very unlikeable at other times when his ****iness comes through, but all of that is mostly irrelevant next to the fact that he is the most boring fighter to watch in the sport that gets regular air time.

For example, Connor Mcregor is ****y like Floyd outside of the ring, but he fights in wars, fights everyone the fans want him to, jumps up 25 pounds in weight overnight, and has an extremely entertaining style, so of course he has fans, because at the end of the day people watch the sport to watch the sport, not to follow TMZ outside the ring or the octagon.

Why do people even have to explain this to you? Did you just never think about this yourself? Fans dislike Floyd and Ward, two of the most boring fighters in the sport, but your mind immediately jumps to the conclusion that it's because of race? That just shows how racially biased you are because if you weren't, you would be as bored by their fights as everyone else who doesn't have a rooting interest specifically in black fighters, and you would know that's the reason no one likes them, not race.

It's like with me and Rigondeaux. Most people thought his fight with Donaire was boring, but I was really sick of Donaire at the time and really wanted him to lose, so the fight was suspenseful for me and entertaining, and I watched it multiple times. But that is only because I had a rooting interest. If I was just a neutral, a low action fight like that would have been boring as hell. Very little happened most rounds.

It's the same with you and Floyd and Ward. How can you not see that? You're dying to see them win because they're black I guess, and they're really good at winning, so every time they fight, you're super entertained watching your guys dominate their opponents, even if their opponents suck. You like watching your team win, just like fans of NFL teams like watching their teams in a blowout, or Barcelona fans will watch them school an MLS team 7-0 in a friendly match just because it's fun to watch their players score a bunch of goals.

What you have to understand is most boxing fans aren't like you. They're not just going to root for boring fighters, who never fight in competitive fights, because they're black. I guess you do, so you think that's entertaining, but if you didn't, you wouldn't, and most people don't.

Now that you understand that, hopefully you understand that's the reason people don't like Ward. If you don't have a rooting interest, he's boring as **** to watch. I can attest to that. Maybe you never got that before, because you do have a rooting interest, but I'm telling you now, for boxing fans who don't, which is almost all of them, he's boring as **** no matter what styles you like, because he's always in mismatches, and he holds a lot, and has a low output. When Kathy begged WBC for the mandatory spot she got it and when it was time for Stevenson vs Kovalev to go to purse bid she pulled out of the fight and had Kov vacate his #1 spot with the WBC. Now it's time for Kov to fight Ward and here she go again with some BS. Kathy is the problem here. She doesn't want to lose the only gravy train she's had in a while. God she gets on my nerves.

All Team Stevenson had to do was wait for the purse bid, and Kovalev was coming right to them, and they would have gotten him. Instead, TEAM STEVENSON, not Team Kovalev, TEAM STEVENSON petitioned to move the purse bid way earlier, before Duva could get financial backing.

If they really wanted the fight, they would have just waited for him to walk into their trap, and he would have been forced to fight. The fight was on track to happening, with the purse bid set up late in the year. Instead, they drastically changed the date of the purse bid, knowing Duva would have to pull out, and that the fight would get canceled.

Before Team Stevenson intervened to move the purse bid, the fight was on track to happening. After their maneuver, the fight was canceled.

That right there works both ways though it wasn't until Lomancheko embarrassed Russell that people got off his back. So yeah there's two sides to that "I only ****s with boxers that look like me" bullshhh around here. Mofo's can't just be fans of a boxer based on skills anymore, Erroll Spence hasn't really done shh yet and you'd think he was christ reborn around here with some posters but god forbid you mention a european boxer with a similar track record you get the "he ain't shh." On Saturday, after Ward dominated Alexander Brand in a tuneup bout, Kovalev appeared in the ring with Ward on HBO cameras to announce the Nov. 19 bout. But on Saturday afternoon Roc Nation Sports officials made it clear they had not agreed to a venue.

Ward, earlier in the week, also let it be known he would not appear at Tuesday’s news event because of prior commitments.

“This morning, I got an email [from Roc Nation Sports] saying, ‘We don’t agree to announce tickets on sale,’” Duva said. “This is a tactic. They’re trying to get control.”

Duva said her lawyers at Main Events promotions are working to resolve the situation.

MGM also had put in a request to purchase a large quantity of tickets for the Ward-Kovalev bout, likely to be distributed to high rollers.

There is a provision in the contract that the bout can’t be staged in Oakland or anywhere in Kovalev’s home country, Russia.

“My fear is this is a ploy to push MGM out of the deal and push us to Oakland,” Duva said.

Kovalev was briefed on the matter before his news conference and said after it he wished Ward had showed to help draw interest to their bout.
