Rocnation/Ward agreed to a fight but never agreed to a location, just agreed to exclude two specific locations, Oakland and Russia. So knowing this, how does Duva assume that the fight will be held at T-Mobile? And why is she surprised when Rocnation informed her that they never agreed to a location? She states there was a previous deal with Itskowich (who's no longer with Rocnation) with MGM, however MGM owns many properties and based on current info available, there was no agreement on venue.

Kathy Duva -"The on-sale should've happened now. They were saying we need signed contracts, blah, blah, I don't think I've ever done a fight where contracts with an arena were signed before they went on sale. "- See more at: http://www.boxingscene.com/kovalevs-....C09UZyB9.dpuf

This is probably the biggest load of schit I have ever read from a promoter, I mean it has to be up there with some Arum classics. If you read this quote and seriously some how pivot to Ward being the problem, then I thank you for proving your bias. How can you sell tickets to a venue that doesn't exist? When I purchase this ticket, will it say venue and seat TBD? I could seriously brake her statements down even further but there is really no need. Duva most likely had some sort of deal with T-Mobile arena, and she's trying to use media negotiating tactics to strong arm Rocnation into a venue that she prefers. Gag the Bich, give her the same treatment Arum got from both Mayweather and Pac after they met in that hotel room, and watch how quick this fight gets negotiated.

Exactly. It's a great fight for us but they can't even fill the T-Mobile arena. The crowd will look like a ****ing WNBA game.

    • I love and respect both fighters!

But Andre Ward has not been looking like himself lately!

T Mobile is the best offer in hand!

HBO PPV..............what more do you need?

Would Green K if I could.... Duva is very quick to start going through the media at any sign of disagreement, it doesn't help move things forward and usually creates friction.

Why even hold the mini presser if you were informed a week before and that Ward wasn't going to appear.

I would just about GUARANTEE that is whats up.

And Bob Arum does the exact same thing.

Duva will have a backhand deal with T-Mobile..... and because that deal is under the table, she gets 100%.

This likely means that she will have to disclose the backhand as a legitimate business "incentive", and it will go into the pot..... no big deal.

That is the most telling question to me.....

..... answer that, and you will know whats up.

Why hold a presser at all, when the only statement that you can possibly make is..... Andre Ward informed us approximately a week ago that he will not be present today to confirm that the fight has not been signed yet..... wtf? LMAO

                • Wait what?

Who in the right mind would make an "agreement" with Andre Ward that wasn't 100% written in ink with 20 lawyers witness and a copy submitted to every governing body?

They made an "agreement" and aren't even sure if Ward agrees yet? It's ANDRE WARD!!!! Well here's a spoiler: Oracle Arena, 172 lbs, etc

... while, since long ago, all Ward's fans were shouting here that "The fight is signed already"...

                    • I call bull**** in the sense that we've known the exact date for the fight for months. Months. But never have they said where the fight would be. Now suddenly that's been agreed to for a year? So why not state that? All we've known is Russia and Oakland have been excluded. Suddenly tho, T-Mobile areana, an arena that didn't even exist when the talks for this fight started, was agreed upon. I dunno what Duva is working but it sounds like a lot of bull****.
