As a famous poet once said, "Floyd's ability to duck punches like he used to will wane with time, as all things do, but his decision to duck top opposition his whole career will last forever, as all legacies do."

And truer words were never spoken.

Floyd Sr doesn't want his son to come back. But if he comes back, he wants him to fight Broner. I get it.

The fight makes me think of how Broner idolized Floyd in the beginning of his career and getting tips, advice etc. Might be a long shot but if Broner comes in 100% focused it could be an interesting fight. Floyd is old enough where he's slowed down enough for Broner to have changes yet Floyd knows all about Broner's style. Add in any true animosity/jealousy and it could be interesting...or i could be wrong

Broner would ask for too much money and **** himself out of the fight.

From a selling standpoint, it makes sense. You can sell it as old friends who turned enemies and make for some drama. People would buy it. Plus with Floyd being older, Broner actually does have a chance.

I don't think it happens though. Floyd doesn't want to give Broner any payday.

Nah I agree it makes for a very interesting fight. Especially Broner finally hitting rock bottom being in jail. Maybe this makes him get serious and focus.. but it's Broner so maybe not. I think it would be an exciting fight though. Maid analysis couldn't put Broner away amd Floyd has frail hands so AB might throw caution into the wind and go right at him. With his hands that could make for an interesting 12 rounds of "can he catch him?!!"

They always say the most dangerous man is one with nothing to lose. I think AB has hit this point so we''ll see.

Yupp. And heso out of jail as of today. If he doesn't get sentenced to any serious time, I can see them using his negative press as a positive to stir the pit and create more drama between the two, ultimately leafing to a fight in early 2017.

smh....the brutes maidana and porter were too much for him. broner is the black version of SOL. lazy, undisciplined yappers. if broner were to have his head right, he could have been a true problem.

if pac beats vargas, you can be sure may/pac 2 will be making the rds.
