According to Hearn, they don't draw out the contract papers to sign unless all terms have been agreed.. Apparently his papa did not let the talks go to that level yet..

Have you noticed between all the commotion of Eubank denying to fight & Kelly Blue Brook accepting to fight, Eubanks have not once come forward & said, I wanted to fight Golovkin but he did not agree.. I think they know they are fault for the fight not happening.. What Jr just did a few weeks back was to call out Gennady again, so the whole process starts all over again..

If Hearn was lying about not giving Eubank a chance to accept the contract he drew up, we would have heard all about it by now. And what motive would he have, as a promoter, to deliberately make one of his own fighters look bad?
Match Room is contractually obligated to Eubank. So they have no choice. Senior is working with Eddie's dad to get the next fight done. There is a reason for that. I'm not questioning whether a contract was presented to Senior to have Junior sign, I'm wondering if he called and said...take the deal or I'm going with Brook.

Many different sources have come out and said how difficult Eubank SR is to deal with. Frank Warrens inter view and Hearns is enough to indicate what a **** Sr can be.

Hearn negotiated with Eubank Snr for over a month and repeatedly put out statements saying that the deal was done and the contracts about to be signed... then that Golovkin had signed and he expected Jnr would sign by the end of the week etc.

Clearly, he gave the Eubanks every chance to sign on the dotted line, and according to him, the last chance was an ultimatum to Snr saying that Jnr had 24 hrs to sign the contract or the deal was off. I don't think he told Snr that Brook would then get the fight instead though. I wouldn't expect a promoter to play off one of his fighters against another as blatently as that.

From the way he has been talking - praising Eubank Jnr and repeatedly stating that his dad cost him the fight with GGG - it's pretty clear that Hearn wants to carry on promoting Jnr, but doesn't like the idea of working with Snr again.

I can't stand Hearn but he's talking about the brand when he mentions product. The Eubank name & reputation is the brand/product

Clearly that.. Barry Hearn is doing all the negotiating with Eubank Sr..
I feel Jr has to come out of Sr.'s shadow & find himself a new manager to make deals.. This kid might waste his prime behind his delusional dad..

That could be dangerous for a man as old as Barry Hearn.

Frank Warren said that he "lost the will to live" while negotiating with Eubank Snr to try and make a rematch with BJS.

hearn is untrustworthy but the eubanks take untrustworthy to a whole new level. I believe hearn on this one, been a lot of people who have said how ridiculous the eubanks are to negotiate with.
