Comments Thread For: Hearn: Maybe Eubank's Plan Was To Benefit From Golovkin Hype

When British middleweight champion Chris Eubank Jr. (23-1, 18KOs) reunited with promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sport earlier this year, there was a lot of pressure placed on Hearn to secure a fight with IBF/IBO/WBA/WBC middleweight champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin (35-0, 32KOs) for the fall.

Intriguing that Eubank Sr. now refuses to work with Eddie Hearn. I always say that there are 3 versions to every story. The version of each side and the truth. Something tells me Hearn never gave Eubank Sr. a take it or leave it call.

That ''something'' is an underdeveloped brain that obsesses about white and black. That little brain will, by reflex action, take the side of the fighter or team that isn't white skinned.

Langford/Eubank purse bid is on Wednesday. Lets see what MR puts up vs what Warren puts up. I have a feeling Warren may be the promoter for that fight.

Hearn describing Eubank Jr as a "product" tells you all you need to know about the man. Slimeball.

It's Hearn who doesn't want to work with Snr. Frank Warren won't deal with him now either.

If Hearn was lying about not giving Eubank a chance to accept the contract he drew up, we would have heard all about it by now. And what motive would he have, as a promoter, to deliberately make one of his own fighters look bad?

Can someone tell me how Eubank Jr was supposed to sign a contract he never saw?

When your own promoter says stuff like this, its pretty clear it is make it or break it between Hearns & Eubanks.. I wouldn't be surprised if they break their contract or fight another lame british level guy to finish their 2 fight deal & move on..
