Comments Thread For: Hearn Admits Concern in Making a Joshua vs. Hughie Fury Bout

A few days ago - Peter Fury, father and trainer of unbeaten heavyweight contender Hughie Fury (20-0, 10KOs) - said his son is ready and willing to challenge IBF world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (17-0, 17KOs) next.

I agree with the essex twat for once, this is too risky to schedule.

AJ v Stiverne would be a perfect fight at this stage, then Parker next year and then the Pulev clash if Pulev keeps winning.

I agree that they should avoid Hughie Fury for now because of the allegations against him. Pulev or Stiverne sound good to me.

I don't think so mate, Stiverne is a much harder fight for AJ but the hype that comes with a Hughie Fury Vs AJ fight is much, much more!

I'm really hoping Eddie can pull this one off it would be a great sales pitch for making people want to see AJ Vs Dyson Fury If Joshua KOes Hughie which is EXTREMELY likely lol.

Hughie Fury would be a far liver opponent than the fat bum Hearn will choose. If you mugs think it's going to be Stiverne or Pulev, you're in for a rude awakening.

There might be slightly more hype cos of the Fury name but other than that no one knows who Hughie is. In fact, Tyson is more known for his ****** comments than his boxing.

I think both fights are east for AJ tbh.

Anyway, my main point was that making a fight with HF is too risky at this point because no one knows what's happening with UKAD.

Stiverne is a punchbag who comes forward in straight lines. Hughie Fury would pose more a challenge for AJ due to his footwork & size alone.

Stiverne is made for Joshua, plus he's looked terrible in his recent fights, getting dropped by journeymen etc. He's dog****.

Kassi was too much for Hughie Fluff after 4-5 rounds. I can understand Petr wanting to cash him out now real fast with the impending bans, but really this is not a competitive fight. Parker of all the four mentioned brings the most exciting match up imo.

He won every round against Kassi, and I doubt he's getting banned. If UKAD had any real evidence he'd be banned already.
