That's a bit harsh...but it looks like he was tought by someone who thinks they know boxing, but don't even know how to teach the basic fundamentals.

Your son looks good Larry. In the shadow boxing video I would recommend he try different types of jabs, slip more punches and turn his opponent, instead of jumping so much and wasting energy.

I wouldn't have him dip under the heavy bag like you have him doing on the second video, and it looked to me like he was actually pulling a bit his punches in order to be faster. He looks like he might have the genetic explosiveness to hurt opponents if he actually punches through the target and punches with more surface area of his fist.
