Brand, Barrera, Smith, Rodriguez, Dawson, Froch, Kessler, Abraham, Bika, Boone, Green, etc.
Unless he is allowed to use his gloves with no padding, Golovkin would lose to most of the guys on this list. Golovkin is the same age as Ward, yet Golovkin has never fought anyone as good as Dawson, Froch, Kessler, Abraham or Bika and definitely no one as good as Kovalev. That tells me everything I need to know about Golovkin.

          Golovkins hate base is ridiculous.

Froch sent offer to face Ward for a rematch in Nottingham => Ward ducked the fight.

GGG takes the very same fight Ward ducked => Froch retires.

The 2009 version of Golovkin may have lost against a couple of those guys. The 2015/current version would have trouble with Kessler but would beat everyone else without too much trouble. Not ko, but easily out point for sure.

Yes easily and he'd beat them without cheating.

I can see him beating all of them. Froch and Kessler wouldn't be easy, but I think Golovkin is a better al around fighter than they were, based on what we've seen so far. Obviously, we may all be wrong when he fights at 168 if that happens.

The last real middleweight champion jumped from 160 to 175 without a tune up and took out the light heavyweight champion.
