Golovkin would never faced the competition that Ward has faced. I mean, Ward is fighting Kovalev and the coward is fighting a welterweight, pathetic.

It amazes me that people actually didn't get that Froch was joking when he said that. Actually it doesn't there's some really slow people about.

There is no evidence to suggest either way. To me Froch and Kessler would be a tall order for GGG, he is not a big middleweight and stylistically those guys fight long, hit hard, and both have great jabs which would disrupt Golovkin.

It's all too hypothetical at this stage though. We would need to see Golovkin fight some good champions at 160-168lbs first.

Golovkin is a great middleweight - but he is much smaller than some recent great middleweights and super-middleweights. I couldn't see him competing with a Prime B-hop for example.

To be fair Golovkin was willing to move up and fight Froch at 168 and Froch declined and retired.

Froch said Golovkin wanted him to move down to 164.

What are the chances of a fight with Gennady Golovkin happening?

Fifty-fifty. It would be more but I’ve heard recently that he’s considering dropping down, and he also mentioned me potentially moving down to 164lbs, which just isn’t an option.

yes he would. And in better style most likely. Froch is a hell of a fighter but in terms of a style match up he couldnt be more perfect for GGG. GGG beat **** out of groves in sparring and groves gave froch all he could handle.

There is a reason why Froch chose to retire when GGG said he would move up to fight him, remember that.
