Rigo's 50x more boring than Ward. Lara is 30x more boring than Ward. Wlad is 30x more boring than Ward.
Ward's fights are not action packed, but there's a lot of cool nuances if you pay attention to the details. Watching him judge and calculate distance on the fly is pretty amazing.
For some reason Rigondeaux and Lara's style seem to be more flashy than Wards, where Ward is just pure text book.
I think it works different for every boxer.Comment

its no different than you complaining about ward's style...if you want to see the man lose, at least be honest about it, because he is far from the most boring fighter in the sport.Comment

yes, but a lot of them don't make it to TV.
now, in fairness to andre ward, do you really think it was ward spoiling on saturday? because if you do you're the fanboy. blame brand. then blame genetics, because ward is not a big puncher.
dude showed up to go 12 rounds, and he had 400 amateur fights worth of experience to teach him how to do it.
i'm glad he only got 30 grand, because that was a poor effort. he actually landed on ward early, and i think he could have kept doing it with his awkwardness if he committed to throwing punches in stead of running and spoiling.
i really hope you guys aren't dumb enoug hthat you blame ward exclusively for that fight being borning. blame rocnation and hBO for putting a tuneup on a premium cable network. blame brand for showing up to survive. then blame ward for not having the physical or mental make up of a puncher.Comment

Fairly sure i have more knowledge of the sweet science than you, you can't expect Ward to Brawl with Green as Kessler did since their styles are very different, sit downComment
