As I've already asked, what does a purse have to do with skills? Why does it matter who made what? If Brand was paid 250k would it make him a better fighter? As far as it tuning Ward up....with all do respect, I will take his managements advise over 99% Of people who post on a Forum. Of course it wasn't a great fight, but it served its purpose. Ward got some rounds and made some money. Anyone saying they would do different in his shoes is just lying. Lets wait and see how the fight goes in November. I haven't picked a winner, but there is no way Ward is overmatched here. Purses and tune ups be damned, Ward is a great fighter and even Kovalev is on record saying as much.
