I had a horrible gut feeling about this fight. I guess I'm just used to boxing letting me down. Thank goodness it's over, Ward won, and now we can move on to the best fight in boxing. I cannot freaking wait.

      "Nobody else took the fight".

That might be because whiny Ward laid $30k to the opponent.

He's such a princess to deal with, bless his charitable Christian heart, he gave this guy $30k and he took $850k.

What a chump, can't wait till Kovalev knocks him out.

I like Ward way better when he's in southpaw stance

Kova = been fighting legit top Light-Heavyweights (even though division is weak historically)...

Ward = been fighting non-top 10 super middleweights...

I think people are overlooking this and just judging a potential match up based on the fact that Kova didn't look extraordinary in his last fight while Ward has been dominating guys who Kova would have probably KO'd inside of 4 rounds...

I think Kova is too strong for Ward's clinching, and I think Ward's chin is questionable..it'll be interesting to see what happens if and when Kova lands clean on Ward... I really think Ward only wins by boxing all 12 rounds and avoiding any exchanges... Ward has to become FMJ to win this fight and make it very boring...

So in your valueless opinion, you believe that a guy who fights cab drivers and hasn't fought a legit opponent since Froch (how many years ago?) should be 1 Lb for Lb

This is the problem with the world period lol... Delusional people who can't even bother to try to use their brain to be practical or objective for even a second...

Yes. Barrera would be one of the best Kovalev's wins. A washed up super middleweight bodybuilder in Pascal isn't much better than a good young prospect with a power in his punches and great amateur background

So Ward is in my p4p list, because he's showing all the potential and still yet to be seriously troubled in the fight. Despite the fact he doesn't have any great current accomplishments, his resume is still solid.

I'm not saying he should be on your p4p list

The problem with the world is the people who don't respect other opinions and calling them valueless

Ward couldn't even KO this bum? loooooooooool

                      Would he even beat GGG?

He doesn't have that bouncy in and out style he did at 168, he's lost that suddenness, also looks a lot slower and more lethargic at this weight.
