Thats kinda silly to say. Lotsa guys look like champs vs bs fighters Arum (& other promoters) matches them up against early. Thats why Arum's able to get away with this cuz people don't know or can't tell right off. And thats not to say that there isn't a clear difference when watching a guy like Spence vs former TR prospect Mike Jones that there is some obvious disparity in talent, but it can still be difficult to tell if a guy is a legit potential future contender at times or just being pushed vs bs opponents.

Thats not LOL, thats how things work in the UFC & why the UFC is more popular among sports fans as far as combat sports go. Its also how boxing used to be. Go look at how Ray Leonard came up. Or even Floyd & Manny or Oscar. They had real fights early on. Its getting embarrassing & its more about promoters protecting their investments than boxers being "scared" or whatever I think you could be suggesting.
You were doing great until you mentioned the ****** clown....****** clown did alot of ducking ....called it retirement when the division got hot....also sooner or later arum is gonna want his pound of flesh and that is when these boxers go to Protecting Boxing Cowards division....it is much easier when you dont let nationalistic pride get in the way to cloud your judgement.

Stop it, you don't know **** about boxing history apparently. Floyd fought Genaro Hernandez 2 years into his pro career. He fought Angel Manfredy who was a highly considered contender & HBO mainstay at the time 2 months later. He fought Diego Corrales in a fight I & many others predicted he'd lose. He fought Jesus Chavez who was highly considered at the time also. Floyd had to climb his way to the top like most guys previous to this current era where promoters just push through guys they think they can sell to the public via the "right fights".

Yes crawford has had two test but hes still faced good opposition and looked good against them as he should.

Yeah ill agree with you on that one. But still some guys face complete no hopers and still look bad. Which actually says alot if it happens repeatedly.

I know how it works in the ufc. I meant it for boxing. Nobody wants to fight the best without some aort of ridiculous payday. Hell look at loma-walters two guys under the same umbrella but walters wanted some kind of millions which is ridiculous.

I bet he went to showtime with the stipulation that he was gonna pick his opponents....look at ward...he is going up against Kovalev...look at crawford he went up against postol...granted their was lack of action due to Crawford doing some heavy running...HBO still puts up the best fights Francisco Vargas vs Orlando Salido is this years fight of the year....The Best In The Business Work The Night Shift...The was HBOs slogan years ago for their boxing program....Do you Remember ?

I understand how you can dislike Floyd. He acts like a ****head like 50% of the time. He's been locked up for beating his ex-girl. He spends money on dumb****. He only posts his winning bets. Even as a mfer who grew up in Grand Rapids & knew how badass Floyd was gonna be before 99% of the boxing community I can see he's a bit of a assclown at times, but to act like he's not accomplished amazing things in the ring makes you look biased & uninformed about boxing. Fair enough doe, boxing needs to broaden its base to more people who are new to the sport so whatever I guess.

Chavez jr was a PPV star before he signed with Al Haymon. Now he can't even get dates. Then again, I can't throw too much shade because I could never get dates either and I didn't even have to sign with Al Haymon for that to be the case.

Really though, Haymon has been so bad for boxing. If he tells the fighters what to do, why does he keep telling his fighters to be duckers? At least that's what it seems like.

With this post You just committed The StrawMan fallacy....again you gotta defend the ****** clown because you invested heavily in his ppv fights through out his career.......I am a boxing fan that just demands the best fights and when I see bull$#!+ sprinkled with powdered sugar
I know it is still bull $#!+..

Chavez should have went to Golden Boy or back to Top Rank.

Haymon doesn't seem to care about his Mexican fighters, not even the ones that name their kids after him.
