I don't know why this type of stuff is said like its a good thing or honorable or whatever. Arum is great at manufacturing bs "contenders" & "champions". Thats basically hustling boxing fans & the boxing business.

Boxing will be better when contenders & champions are built like they are in the UFC nowadays & like they used to be built in boxing back in the day by fighting other top prospects & contenders with the cream gradually being pushed to the top. Arum gets a nice face, solid boxing skill, ideally some KO power & navigates them carefully in basically fixed fights vs guys with lil to no chance to win til he's created a sellable contender/champion.

So now some are praising a promoter giving mismatches and cherry picks cause it suits their agenda?

            Haha!

Obviously im praising him cause of how he built up a bum. Its not like jr is lomachenko where you can put him in with the best in less than 10 fights. Also if boxing fans dont see who has the goods or who doesnt is a buffoon. Also lol at the thought of them being built to fight the best. Its either they want to fight the best or just fight for the check. Especially now

Thats how he builds up everyone doe. Crawford has had two real fights his whole career & between the size different + layoff I think you could argue he's only had 1 real fight going into his fights. Now granted Crawford has shown he's the real deal, but he was built into a HBO star without being in a real fight or at best only 1 real fight. Loma might be the only guy who had real fights thrust upon him & Loma had to fight against Arum to make that happen from most things I've read.

Also if boxing fans dont see who has the goods or who doesnt is a buffoon.
Thats kinda silly to say. Lotsa guys look like champs vs bs fighters Arum (& other promoters) matches them up against early. Thats why Arum's able to get away with this cuz people don't know or can't tell right off. And thats not to say that there isn't a clear difference when watching a guy like Spence vs former TR prospect Mike Jones that there is some obvious disparity in talent, but it can still be difficult to tell if a guy is a legit potential future contender at times or just being pushed vs bs opponents.

Also lol at the thought of them being built to fight the best. Its either they want to fight the best or just fight for the check. Especially now
Thats not LOL, thats how things work in the UFC & why the UFC is more popular among sports fans as far as combat sports go. Its also how boxing used to be. Go look at how Ray Leonard came up. Or even Floyd & Manny or Oscar. They had real fights early on. Its getting embarrassing & its more about promoters protecting their investments than boxers being "scared" or whatever I think you could be suggesting.

The Floyd/Ellerbe/Haymon fanbase was celebrating when Chaves Junior left Arum. Now what? It's the same tragic case with Gamboa. Who's next? Mikey?
