Comments Thread For: Bundu's Warning: Don't Overlook Me Against Errol Spence

Most questions understandably were directed toward Errol Spence Jr. during a 40-minute conference call Thursday that featured Spence and Leonard Bundu. The hard-hitting Spence is an unbeaten, hard-hitting, rising welterweight star with an Olympic pedigree.

I've seen a lot of mismatches like this. As much as I wanted to see the underdog to win, they're frustrating to watch, "Why it this guy not letting his hands go? He's getting pummelled and he's not throwing anything. The ref needs to end this fight. It's useless."

Many times, I tough old rugged journeyman, shocks the world and beats an up and coming prospect. It happens so so often. Imam, and Douglas his this past fiscal year.

Only a casual would call this a mismatch

Bundu is awkward and tough as nails...plus he has some pop.Dude gave Thurman all he could handle.

It is a mismatch, but Spence gotta do what he gotta do to get Brook in that ring with him. Even Brook vacates and Spence ends up with a paper title, the paper title still comes with it's own star power and negotiating power. Just look what the paper IBF title did for Charles Martin, what the paper WBO is doing for Jessie Vargas, etc etc.

So Spence, do what you gotta do to get the title son.

Bundu vs Thuman wasn't a competitive fight?

You...a Gigi fanboy..should be that last one to call anything a mismatch...being that is all your hero engages in.
