Lemule has never outright been dominated like Maidana against Alexander. Maidana basically quitted after Round 4 and put up very little resistance after that. Same class fighter but certain fanboys (like you) like to overrate certain people to fit a narrative, pathetic.

Lemule took a chance against a hard hitting veteran in Rubio and just because he came up short fans take shots at him. But let's be honest if lets say Erickson Lubin fought Curtis Stevens and was knocked out cold your narrative would be different.

Maidana is a good fighter top 5-10 at his weight when he was at his best. Also his approach and style of fighting is made to make it a good fight against Floyd. I enjoyed their fights and wanted Maidana to win but Floyd came out on top.

You can argue all day about is he this good or only that good but in the end it's all speculation. Only thing we have that is solid is what happened when they fought and on that night Maidana was a damn good fighter even if not good enough.

I'm not a Mayweather fan but I am big on Maidana. What's not to like? The guy is almost never in a bad fight.
There have been fighters more highly regarded who haven't been nearly as fan friendly.
