No way they are trying to get the gold for Shakur, they were trying to get the gold for Nikitin.

It seems like you don;t like Shakur which is ok, I don't like the U.S team much either but Russell was robbed pretty bad against the Uzbekistani guy and Shakur has looked really good.

I really like Shakur, i know him since 2014 maybe when he was a really young fighter winning the youth worlds and i was trying to qualify in the same tournament, started to talk with him on facebook and seemed very confident of winning the gold, even back then, he was a cool kid and when i started editing i used to put him on my videos, i was really happy when he beat up Haney in sparring (i don't like Haney), and i talked to him before he left to the american qualifier, the thing here, is that he was a top seed even when he never faced a top opponent, his first two opponents were bad and then his biggest test in the bracket gets robbed and the guy he needs to face is out of the semis because injuries, doesn't sound good to me, and i don't like that because i was hoping to see him win the gold against to top guys because he is capable.

I hope I am wrong but Robeisy Ramirez is fighting a guy in Akmadaliev who he's beat handily in the recent past and who got a gift decision against Yereliev a couple of fights earlier.

Shakur Stevenson is fighting Nikitin who lost clearly to Conlan but was gifted the decision. I didn't see Nikitin's fight against Budtee but a lot of people here say that he was gifted that decision as well.

I don't like Gyasov at all but he fought his heart out. Yeleussinov was unimpressive. The fight was close, and he did a lot of clinching and bending below the waist.

Yeleussinov had to fight a very intelligent fight due to the cut.
The only thing I don't like about Yeleussinov is how he keeps his mouth open sometimes.
Yeleussinov could very well win the Val Barker trophy. He defeated the right opponents and did it impressively.

Val Baker as of now should be either Dusmatov or Levitt. They've looked better and faced better opponents. Of course I don't know how you give a Val Baker to a silver medalist.

I think if Robeisy wins at 56 he should get the Val Baker because he would've faced the best opponents of them all.

I agree

If Robeisy wins he'll also be a two time back to back Olympic champ.

Robeisys style reminds me a lot of Loma highly skilled but they mix it up every now and then.

To where as shakur is strictly defense definitly in the mold of a mayweather.
