It's a discussion thread, you guys go and do same thing in threads about Ward or mayweather for that matter so why say to others when it comes to a fighter y'all like and they criticize stay away from threads then?
All I have got to say is, see comment #23.. cheers..
How about just paying Saunders what he want to finally unify division and move on to bigger challenges
This is something I agree on too.. $4mil is a little more than the total purse of most GGG's fights.. Negotiate & bring it down a little, you bite the bullet of taking a lower share than BJS & get what he has.. BJS wants money for trading his belt than getting in the ring to prove he is the best MW, so give the lad a good amount to entice him & then beat his a$$ up in the ring..
GGG is white. Most boxing fans in the US are black. Black people care way more about what race people are in 2016 than white people because race has affected them more historically. When something has affected you or your people for hundreds of years, it's hard to let go of it even when it's not directly affecting you anymore. Any time something happens, you still have it in your mind that it has to be because of race. You project.
It's a perfect storm of circumstances that allowed one of the most boring fighters in history, Floyd Mayweather, who never fought the guy the fans wanted him to fight, and was an ******* out of the ring, to become one of the most beloved fighters of all time by his fan base, while making GGG, one of the most exciting fighters you'll see, who calls out all the best in his division, and is a gentleman, one of the most hated fighters by many US fans.
It's just the way it is. I still have hope for humanity to come together, stop judging people by race either in a pro-your own race way or an anti-other race way, and stop falling for the elite's divide and conquer tactics. We can be better than this.
I'm white, I don't like triple asswipe. I like Floyd...in the ring, but it's not for me to judge him outside of it, I just don't act the way he does. This race card on either side is complete and total bullshhhitt, who cares what color the guy is? I like bradley too...why? Because he'll fight anybody, he's a decent guy outside of the ring, and has proven himself inside of it. Triple asswipe hasn't proven a damn thing to me based on his resume. Lomachenko is probably my favorite fighter right now, he's not black.
And while we're on race, do you even realize that golovkin would be considered more Asian than "white"? https://www.quora.com/Why-do-people-from-Kazakhstan-Kyrgyzstan-look-Korean
F****n educate yourself before spouting of your ignorance.
You have hope for humanity? I'll tell you what, look in the mirror and start there you hypocritical piece of dog shiiit.
I wish we didnt have 4 articles a week for every time Abel Sanchez makes some ****** ass comment. The guy is a liar and just stalks ****** ****.
He's doing it because they want to try to take people attention off his resume and the fact that the most skilled fighter he will have faced is a career WW.
How many morons had something to say about Mayweather? It's a forum genius. People come and talk **** about who they dislike and praise who they do. Oh BTW **** GGG. He's a clown and wont fight anyone thats a challenge til he's over the hill in which he can make excuses.

You say you're white. Anyone can say they're anything on the internet. And if you like Bradley because he'll fight anyone, if that's something you value, then how do you like Floyd, if that's important to you? Makes no sense so I have doubts about what you're saying. And if you are white, but love Floyd, and are also acutely concerned with whether GGG is white or Asian (another tip off that you're very race conscious and maybe not keeping it 100. I for example never even thought of that because I don't care), and don't like GGG, and call him Triple asswhipe, then congratulations, you are one of kind. When we talk about trends, we don't base them on the exception, the unique one of a kind exception. We base it on the trend. So even if you're keeping it 100, you are still the exception, while what I said is the trend. The fact that some exceptions exist does not mean I'm wrong.

What? Ggg highest total purse so far is 3.5 million and you want them to pay bjs 4 million? That means ggg have to fight for free and pay bjs some. That sounds ******ed.
I live in NY & I do know some fight fans who are biased & some who are fair in their assessment. But most of them agree on one guy as their fav fighter - Ali.
Everything said and done, here are some facts:
1. The sport is bigger than any one person
2. You always root for a fighter you want to root for & could be any of the reasons: race, country, city
People fail to realize if someone disagrees with them then its ok, you dont have to have a personal vendetta because they don't necessarily see eye-eye with you.. Hell, if everybody liked the same shirt, imagine how it would be..
Its just people's opinion, they are entitled to it..
The problem is it's ruining boxing and causing division outside of boxing. But in terms of boxing, if you're black and you automatically don't like Sergey Kovalev, so you criticize him, what are you accomplishing? If you automatically don't like GGG, so you criticize his opponents, while never criticizing Danny Jacobs because he's black so it's cool, what are you accomplishing? How are you helping the sport? In fact, you are actively hurting the spot. Because when Danny Jacobs ducks GGG, but you criticize GGG, instead of Jacobs, you are acting as a shield for Jacobs to keep ducking. Why wouldn't fighters keep ducking if instead of being criticized, and losing support, they gain support for it, while the guys they're ducking are the ones who get criticized?
If people could just leave race out of it, stop supporting the duckers no matter what race they are, stop buying tickets to see them, they would no longer get rewarded with big paydays to fight cab drivers, they would be forced to fight the best, and boxing would thrive again. But as long as people are willing to support and defend duckers just because they share the same race, while criticize the fighters who try to fight the best because they don't, the duckers will have no motivation to fight the best, and the guys who do will feel like they get no love for it anyway so why bother? It sends the wrong message to boxers and boxing as a sport on every level. People complain about boxing but a lot of these fans who defend duckers are the reason boxing is the way it is. Of course there's corruption and all of that, but the fans who defend duckers and promoters who encourage ducking are enabling all of it. Boxing was always corrupt, but there also used to be good fights, and fighters who fought the best. Now it's corrupt, but there aren't many good fights, either. That's on the fans who defend and support duckers.
