Floyd was injured in the first Castillo fight and it was very close, then he avenged his poor performance due to injury. Any champ would have gotten the benefit of the doubt like he did. You can argue that maidana won the first fight, if you are scoring purely on activity, and throw out effective aggression, he may have won 6 or seven rounds. However if fights were scored that way, Floyd may have lost the Oscar fight and a few others. People like knockouts and skill. Maidana didn get the ko, and Floyd boxed beautifully and dominated the later rounds. Become a judge and give more credit to glancing blows and volume punching I guess? This thread is dumb
