I figured Vargas was the obvious opponent, my expectations werent sky high for Mannys next pick though. Oh well, def shouldnt be a ppv though imo, outside of hardcores no one knows who Vargas is. I figure entertainment wise it will be a fun matchup, although ive never been high on Vargas but his style will make for an entertaining fight.

      In other words....quack quack.

PacChicken is cherry picking like always. Ducking a real challenge in favor of another Rios/Algieri level of opponent.

Are you serious? You would think that the guy in the twilight of his career and having fought an amazing list of fighters would be able to maybe ease up a bit, don't you think? As a boxing fan regardless if you don't care for him or his style, respect is warranted in my opinion.

Here is just some of the fighters he has fought(Several HOF or will be ): He won most of those fights, and will be remembered as one of the best, not a duck or PacChicken:

        Floyd Mayweather Jr
        Marco Antonio Barrera (2)
        Erik Morales (3)
        Jorge Solis
        Juan Manuel Marquez (3)
        Oscar De La Hoya
        Joshua Clottey
        Ricky Hatton
        Shane Mosley
        Antonio Margarito
        Timothy Bradley (3)

If that's the case, then everything that you said should apply to Mayweather. He has just as good of a resume as Pacquiao, if not better. Yet people get upset at him for his ducks and cherry picks. If you're upset at Mayweather, then you need to be upset at Pacquiao for fighting Rios/Algeri/Bradley 3/ and Vargas.

I know you didn't mention Floyd. But you mentioned how its okay for Pacquiao to take it easy, and it made me think about all the Floyd haters out there who get pissed at Floyd, yet admire Pacquiao.

I can even mention Marquez 3. That was a case of when cherry picking goes wrong. Team Pac thought Marquez was washed up, they were going after an easy win / payday. Little did they know.

Think about what you just said for a moment. Crawford is a rising superstar, why should his handlers cash him out or match him a bit too tough. Crawford hasn't had any fights at 147 yet and would be slightly at a disadvantage. The money would be phenomenal but it's too early in Crawford's career to match him against Pacquiao or Mayweather if Mayweather were to make a return soon. In fact he shouldn't be fighting ANY of the top welterweights WITHOUT acclimating to 147 lbs first.

With or without Pacquiao, Crawford will be just fine. Like I said, no need to cash him out. His future is very bright.

Pac just cherry-picking because he realizes the havoc that Crawford would reach down upon him...

LOL @ these FLoyd stans. A week ago they were criticizing for Pac potentially fighting Crawford (he's too small) now they're saying he's ducking him. In case you guys haven't noticed, your boy isn't fighting ANYONE and for all those saying Pac doesn't fight movers/counter punchers...how many has Floyd fought in the past decade? Here's a hint, a whole lot less than pac.

People don't give Floyd the credit because he's been accused of ducking the big challenges for damn near a decade. All the while Pac took on huge challenges, won most, lost some...so yea, he's paid his dues more. One is a businessman first, the other a warrior and as a result, they're treated differently.
