but that's what this is. it's a race war primarily. a lot of the anti golovkin posters are black and feel insecure about a white boxer being that good and a threat to guys with whom they identify. same thing, in reverse, happened with pacquiao and pinoys / white dudes. they drew lines in teh sand based on skin color, too.

they identify with a boxer, and can't see clearly because of it.
I disagree strongly with this. GGG gets criticism from all areas. Sadly this has been framed as a race issue by his fans simply because they do not have the facts to defend his actions.

A lot of GGG fans are Manny fans. Regardless of their race they spent years going at Floyd with ridiculous standards and ways to try and denigrate his accomplishments.

Now that an NSB favorite is being subjected to the same stuff, his fans are getting bent out of shape.

Compare what has been said about GGG to what has been said about Floyd. The difference in race related vitriol is substantial.

Rightly questioning a fighter's resume, and his team's unwillingness to let him finally face a actual challenge when a fighter is 34 years old isn't hate.

Golovkin is Adonis with racism. You wouldn't be here if he was Black.

there have really been two "red flags" on golovkin's career, and one just happened within the last month. the ohter was the ward negotiation, and if you look at the totality of the interviews explaining what went down in the negotiations, and the timelines, it's obvious that neither ward's team or golovkin's team wanted the fight right away.

golovkin gets much, much more crap than he deserves. is he perfect? no. does he warrant "the realest puglist" making 100 threads about him a week?

a lot of it is from the black guys. they can ban me if i want, but i'm saying it . you know it and i know it. bscene is what it is. if you've been here for 6 years, and lurked for a year or two before that, like me, you can call a spade a spade. BG only bans me when i point out that he is overweight.

The problem is the haters just want to demean his achievements, as people do with anyone successful (mayweather, roy jones when they were fighting). People have written off brook as an opponent already when theres so many examples of smaller fighters beating slightly bigger fighters. Seen him called a C level welter. I ask them who was a better opponent for september and it goes quiet. The things people say are so contradictory too, people say hes got to go up to super middleweight but then they accuse him of ducking lara. I then see post from GGG haters in another thread saying fighters dont dominate divisions enough anymore, yet in a GGG thread they are saying hes got to move up. There really is no reason to hate GGG other than the fact hes succesful and casual fans like him, kind of get the impression on this site that people think they are a hardcore fan by saying the most popoular fighters are overrated.

                    Cause

                    He make Mw with ease
He's got one more belt to unify
He's got the Mw defense record to break soon, all by stoppage
The biggest fight in boxing is at 160

But top SMw have been put on notice, he'll fight them as a one off, he doesn't need 3 tuneups at SMw
