jones jr and floyd are 2 of the best fighters of the last 20 years and GGG got a long way to go to get to there level in all time great list. My point is that every guy who is at the top of the sport (and in casual fans and most pundits eyes GGG is right up there) and generating excitement is discredited and are no good. How much hate did jones jr and floyd get yet they were the best fighters by a mile?

I disagree strongly with this. GGG gets criticism from all areas. Sadly this has been framed as a race issue by his fans simply because they do not have the facts to defend his actions.

A lot of GGG fans are Manny fans. Regardless of their race they spent years going at Floyd with ridiculous standards and ways to try and denigrate his accomplishments.

Now that an NSB favorite is being subjected to the same stuff, his fans are getting bent out of shape.

Compare what has been said about GGG to what has been said about Floyd. The difference in race related vitriol is substantial.

Look throughout the recent history. The problem are not the Golovkin fans, it's the Golovkin haters. They're the ones who make 5 new threads a day, attacking the guy for the same crap day in and day out. Go compare the # of "Golovkin is awesome" to "Golovkin sucks" threads.

Very, VERY rarely do you get a poster randomly say "yeah my man Golovkin is the best, you guys suck ass". On the other hand, in literally EVERY thread, no matter what it's about, you'll have some tool like canelomaidana come in and say "something something move up something something lil g something something coward'.

If they got rid of those ~5-10 trolls, the boards would be much more peaceful and prone to objective discussions instead of flame wars. You're not a Golovkin fan, and neither is Redd foxx or bigjavi, or a bunch of other people. But you can TALK to them and understand what they're saying, even if you disagree.

No I don't, nobody in boxing is as big a star now as Floyd was, not even close. But Ggg is up there in the current star rankings.

So I gave you a bunch of very good reasons why he's not moving up for good, all I get is tears back. Look hed offered to fight Wards career best scalp Froch in the Uk at 168, no SMw tuneups needed. You know Froch response, the famous "swerve him like the plague"

And I am as excited for that fight of the year as any true boxing fan would be..
But also, you do not get credit for the fights that is going to happen in the future.. THe fights that you have fought is what you get points for..
I hope Golovkin will move up for good once he unifies, but i am not going to hold it against him if he doesn't do it just yet but for him to be a great fighter he has to move up & challenge himself..

No, it's not but you do realize you can do both? **** Tiger, Curry, Barrera, Zab, Moorer, Naseem, Donaire, Ward, Duran and Foster moved up but they unified. But hey those are men.

GGG can't unify without fighting BJS. Atleast until then, he is MW.

Fact - Golovkin said anyone from 154-168 and then wouldn't negotiate a CW with Canelo and wouldn't fight Ward at 168.

Fact - After criticising Canelo's catchweights he said he wanted one for a Ward fight.

Fact - After criticising Canelo for fighting a WW at 155, he chooses to fight a WW at 160.

Fact - He claims everyone is ducking him, but fighters have called him out and he hasn't even tried to negotiate with them.

Fact - He's 34 and his resume sucks balls for a so called P4P fighter.

Fact - Butterbean has more HOF fighters on his resume than Golovkin.

He's a hypocrite hype job.
