By the way CaneloMaidana:
That guy in your name, ran like hell.
I don't need to defend Golovkin, nor i will if he does something i dislike, but it seems a bit uphill to criticize a guy everyday when your guy acted like a complete scared little girl.Comment

Nah dude.. Most haters are Americans (Wilder fans) & with a exception of few Europeans(AJ UK Fans).. I dont like the guy either because of his ****** mouth, but he beat the guy I was such a fan of & he gets my respect for that..
Loma is leagues ahead for a guy who turned pro not so long ago but I find it strange people wouldn't give him credit.. It could be a few people but hey we still have them..Comment

I've actually seen none of that.as others said, this is actually lighter than the mayweather / pacquiao race war.
but that's what this is. it's a race war primarily. a lot of the anti golovkin posters are black and feel insecure about a white boxer being that good and a threat to guys with whom they identify. same thing, in reverse, happened with pacquiao and pinoys / white dudes. they drew lines in teh sand based on skin color, too.
they identify with a boxer, and can't see clearly because of it.
Mainly the reason's would be as listed by:
Fact - Golovkin said anyone from 154-168 and then wouldn't negotiate a CW with Canelo and wouldn't fight Ward at 168.
Fact - After criticising Canelo's catchweights he said he wanted one for a Ward fight.
Fact - After criticising Canelo for fighting a WW at 155, he chooses to fight a WW at 160.
Fact - He claims everyone is ducking him, but fighters have called him out and he hasn't even tried to negotiate with them.
Fact - He's 34 and his resume sucks balls for a so called P4P fighter.
He's a hypocrite hype job.Comment

You are right I forgot to ass that to my post, some of the threads are too much and they do reach a lot!YOU are the exception not the rule.
and to say all threads hating on loma, fury, pacquiao, GGG is just to "point out" hypocrisy or double standards is reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally stretching the truth.
there's more to those hating threads than just pointing out alleged double standards which black fighters, white fighters, asian fighters, hispanic fighters ALL COMMIT.Comment

A boxing fan on boxingscene is going to be passionate about their opinions. It's true what new england said that some fans are all about who they can identify with and root for that color/flag no matter what, but that goes both ways (the racists)
But it's not entirely a race war at all. How about the fans who don't like
GGG but love Kovalev? Or like Wlad, or like Lomachenko, Frampton? So these people are conviniently racist because you do not want to admit that maybe they're not, maybe they just don't like your favorite fighter
As far as making it stop, this has been ongoing for a long time now and after all of us leave it will still go on. Boxing is a sport with passionate fans who will say their opinions, be it race driven or them being objective
Very good post! Passionate is a great way to describe us all or we wouldnt be here. If you bring race into it then personally I think you're a simple minded person. I've been a boxer since I was a young kid and I've been a fan all of my life, RACE has nothing to do with it. Simple as that.Comment
